Hand off campaign ownership with settings, unresolved work and reply responsibility

A campaign handoff is complete when the receiving operator understands the current state and accepts the outstanding work. Sharing a campaign link alone does not transfer the decisions behind it.

Reviewed · Examples are illustrative

Who this helps: Operators reviewing campaign retirement, rendering, threading and responsibility changes.

Define the decision

An incoming owner needs to know why the audience was selected, which copy was approved and what problems remain. Access and business responsibility are also separate: a person may be able to view the campaign without being authorized to change sender configuration or make commercial promises.

Work through the procedure

  1. Record the campaign's current status, audience version, approved offer and selected mailboxes.
  2. List pending replies, uncertain attempts, scheduled reviews and known exclusions.
  3. Verify the receiving operator's actual access and clarify which changes they may approve.
  4. Walk through one representative contact and confirm acceptance of the handoff.

Worked example

The following is a synthetic example for this procedure, not a customer result or performance benchmark.

Handoff note
Campaign: reviewed supplier-introduction cohort
State: paused pending a sender repair
Outstanding reply: resource request assigned but not fulfilled
Approved copy: version recorded
Receiving owner: access verified, handoff accepted
Next action: fulfill the request and verify connection recovery before considering resume.

Read the result

The note preserves both the commercial context and the operational blocker. The new owner should not interpret access as an instruction to resume immediately. A walkthrough can reveal missing assumptions while the previous owner is still available to explain them.

Check before moving on

  1. Keep credentials out of the handoff document.
  2. Confirm backup reply coverage.
  3. Record any unresolved approval rather than silently transferring it as completed.

Limits and next action

This is an operating handoff, not a claim of a native campaign-owner transfer control in Zintara. Actual access follows the implemented workspace permissions. The team must separately assign responsibility and verify the supported controls.
