Cold email experiment brief builder
Create a copyable study brief with a control, variant, outcome, assignment unit and stopping rule.
Prepare your inputs
Write the question before choosing a winning metric. A useful brief specifies what changes and what stays fixed, which unit is assigned and when outcomes are measured.
Runs in this browser. Inputs are not sent by this tool or saved in browser storage. Start with the fictional example; use redacted text for reviews.
How it works
The builder organizes your entries into a handover document. It does not randomize recipients or register a study. Use it to expose missing definitions before launching an approved experiment.
Worked example
Question: does a resource offer change positive human replies? Keep sender, audience and follow-up schedule fixed; assign at company level where contacts could influence each other; define the observation cutoff.
Limits and interpretation
This is not a power calculation or proof of causation. Protect opt-outs, predefine exclusions and avoid stopping as soon as one variant looks favorable.
