Verify AI funding signals before using them in outreach

Verify the original announcement and preserve its scope. A model-generated funding summary is not sufficient evidence for a factual outreach claim.

Who this helps: People reviewing research evidence, AI draft quality and safe handoffs into campaigns.

Define the decision

Search results may repeat an old round, confuse similarly named companies or describe a planned financing as completed. The reviewer should identify the original event, not count the number of sites repeating it. Keep the operational relevance separate from financial interpretation.

Work through the procedure

  1. Confirm the company and official announcement where available.
  2. Record the event date and what the source actually says happened.
  3. Check whether a stated initiative connects to your offer without assuming unrestricted budget.
  4. Remove unverified amounts, investment labels and timing claims from the message.

Worked example

The following is a synthetic example for this procedure, not a customer result or performance benchmark.

Research record
Entity: verified company domain
Event: source-confirmed announcement
Date: original event date, not article refresh date
Stated initiative: only what the source names
Unknown: spending allocation, buying process and recipient ownership

Read the result

The record prevents a current search result from making an old event appear new. Multiple secondary articles do not independently verify a claim if they all rely on one announcement. If the event is irrelevant to the recipient's task, leave it out even when it is accurate.

Check before moving on

  1. Distinguish rumor, plan and confirmed announcement.
  2. Do not treat a financing amount as current cash available for your product.
  3. Retain the source in the claim ledger.

Limits and next action

This is outreach research, not investment analysis or financial advice. Zintara does not provide a verified financing database. Use current primary evidence and do not convert a funding event into an automatic high-intent label.
