Gmail app password missing: check eligibility before looking for the setting

Define the decision

App passwords are not available for every account or security configuration. Their absence does not mean the main account password should be entered into a legacy SMTP form. Workspace administrators may also control the available access path.

1. Confirm the exact Google account and its two-step verification setup.
2. Read Google’s current eligibility notes for that account type.
3. Check whether organizational policy or account protection changes availability.
4. Prefer the supported Google OAuth connection where available; involve the administrator for restricted accounts.
